Friend picked up a 650 yesterday and has a little problem

The coolant light blinks. He only rode it on pavement and hard pack. Took it back to the dealer and of course they have no idea. No he didn't trip the belt switch. Has this happened to any of you?

I emailed him last week about his temp light. His temp sensor went out when he first got the 650. His temp light was blinking too and his fan wasn't coming on.
