I've taken the 650 in some mud the last few days. I have only the stockers to compare them to. I like them. One thing I noticed when I read the mud tire report at the other web site was that the test riders said some of the other brand tires would pull unpredictably or in different directions than the rider wanted them to go. These tires are PERFECT in that respect. They ride reasonably well on cement too. They ride squirrely above 55 mph compared to the stock tires, a bit scary, but it's to be expected. The quad steers MUCH easier now. I'll let you know exactly how much acceleration I lost when I race my friends SC500 again. He is usually 3-5 lengths behind me to 55 mph, then I pull away because my top speed is higher. So far I'm satisfied with their function, but not the height as you already know.

Hope this helps in someone's decision.

Thanks for the report. I rode a friends Wolverine with 25" mudrunners and it pulled in different directions and seemed kind of squirrely. I can't compare the two quads b/c their completely different. The only thing I don't want to happen is have my 650 steer and handle differently with 27" tires.
