My bro has one and I am extremely impressed. I like my 650 better, but he got his 400 4x4 for $4200 with a winch installed, only 250 miles on it. Yup, it is a really good machine, way better than a foreman or a grizzly/kodiak. Really reliable. I wish I had saved my money and gotten it. Oh well.

It rides, steers, runs, superb. Tranny is excellent. I actually think no quad I have ever seen runs as good all around between cold and hot.

No ATV has as good of engine brakes or brake brakes as the 650. The 400 is not as fast as the bigger engine brutes either, but quads were meant to do more than just race.

The 400 is probably a little weak on engine brakes, but so what! It has hand and foot brakes.

the one I rode was awesome. The one thing I noticed most about it was the suspension. It's super comfortable, alone with the seat. One thing I didnt like was the lag, but there are few automatics that don't do that. But it does build speed up at a good pace. I even jumped it a few times and it landed really well.
