Where to buy 12v rectifier for Bayou
#1
I called the dealer about a cdi unit and it was $300. I contacted another fella and he ordered one on the aftermarket for $100. Unfortunately, I can not reach him to order the rectifier but thought some of you might have a recommendation as to where i can order aftermarket Kawasaki parts and save a few bucks.
Let me know pls.

Hay dave,
I use salvage yards.
Cycle salvage in fort myers is a good one I used for years.
I have a stator off an old dirt bike, same problem $325.
I let the bike sit for years until I found a place out of the back of dirt wheels. Come to find out the guy needed some parts I had so we just traded.
Good luck!!

Tealboy,........I may be wrong on this and if I am I'm sorry, but I believe that an aftermarket supplier in Arkansas has those rectifiers.
Their name is: Dave Felder and Associates.
They only sell to dealers though, so have your Kaw. dealer call and find out for sure that they have them. I know that they have them for the 300 Bayous but I'm not sure about the 220.
The company who makes the aftermarket rectifiers is K&L Products. They may have a site on the net or something so you can find out.
Hope this helps you.
