Has anyone made a cover for the blank spot in the grill (with no winch). Wanting to keep debris from packing up in that area. Particularly milo stalks when riding through fields. Those of you not familiar with milo, just imagine a corn stalk cut off about 1 to 2 feet high. These can even be leaning towards you and act like spears poking into every opening.

Even if you have a winch in that area a sceen of some sorts would be effective! Im going to build one up between the head lights were the radiator is hidden for that added protection.

Did you get your winches through Kawasaki? How much did they cost and do you like them? Dealer said the winch plate would close up that hole, but I haven't seen one. I can get pieces of drop off aluminum tread plate. Thought that would look and work good.

I bought the superwinch from a local atv shop and built my own mount, and the front its a kawi mount and a warn 2500.I don't recall how much the super cost me but the warn set me back 425.They work good I suppose, never used them to pull my self out but Ive used them to pull out my buddys.

I have the Warn 2500 on my 650 and it does close that area almost completely. There is only an approx 2x3 opening down under the winch.
