.............57 mph. I opened it up on pavement and it pulled hard to 50. Then it gradually went to 57 and would not go any faster than 57. (my weight is a bout 155 and was using stock tires). I'm taking it in for the new choke cable and belt checked out and we'll see if it improves.
And it definately does not pull wheelies in low or high. Hopefully the dealer can solve this.

Yeah, you must still have a choke issue or a speedo that's way off.

I havent been to an area riding yet that would allow anything over 50. I do realize that these speedos are all a little out of whack but at 50 on mine I know there were more than 7mph left. I would guess that I still had at least 1/4 throttle if not more. As far as the wheelies go I havent been able to get the nose of the ground even the slightest. Every time I tried the rears would just let loose and spin. I do have something wrong with either the shift linkage or the engine brake but I cant get it into the shop until next Tuesday so I'll be curious to see what happens afterwards if anything.

mine runs 66 on radar which is enought o beat a new 2001 400ex from zero to top speed. we raced on the dirt its was about 6 links faster, then on the street it was about 10 links . we raced for more than quarter mile.

You got to love it when a big 4x4 can beat a sport wheeler!

want wheelies? try running on grass or clay. too much torque for dirt/gravel unless you`re working the throttle/weight distribution.
mine will stand up on those sufaces (pavement also).

stand back and let the praire dog eat!

Now that I have 300 miles I've noticed that I rarely use all the power this thing has. I rarely need it. That's great.

Had mine opened up for close to a half mile or so and the top speed according to the speedo was 62.
Now according to the GPS which has a accuracy of +/- 1/10MPH the top speed was 58MPH. Will trust the GPS. My 650 only has 250 miles on it so it may get faster the more I break it in.
