The top speed of my 650 is...........

tampavii,
I'm running 27" Dirt Devils on mine. They have a very stiff side wall and reduce the ride quality but they have great traction. It is a trade off. If I ride it like a sport machine the ride seems to smooth out quite a bit. Here are some pictures of my machine.
I'm having problems with the choke on one of my carbs. When it under a load it make a sound like a heat sheild is loose but it goes away when I'm just cruising over rough trails so I know nothing is loose. It also back fires occasionly when I let off the throttle after running it wide open. Plus, top speed is around 46mph after adjusting for the tire diff.
Has anyone tried lubing the choke cables on their carbs? Did this seem to fix the problem?
Thanks,

Hey Kevin, came and rode the Poker run, it was great, will see you at the Spring ride. I have the 25 in. D.Devil's on my 650, you're right they are great tire's, I had my choke cable's fixed and have had no more problem's. If you trust your dealer, take it back, they did mine under warrenty, and said Kaw. is working on a new setup, should be a re-call anytime, in the meantime they took mine off, lubed them really good, and re- routed them somehow, no problem's now.

HAd my 650 up to 60 today of pavement.Might of had 2 0r 3 more but run out of pavement. No choke problem yet
Have knocking noise from rifght side gear box when I hit back brake hit.
Kevin.
The stock tires feel soft and slip when in loose sand or mud.
How do you like your dirt devils.
I dont think a will go to 27 inches nut maybe 26.
What is diffence between mudrunner ,mudbugs and dirty devils.
I will be plowing with them when it snows
Hopefully it will snow this winter.
Wife said its not going to snow because I brought the plow for it.
Picture of my ATV after being buried in 3 ft of clay.Took 5 hrs to clean looks like new now.

I had mine up to 62 mph before I put on the Pro Circuit Exhaust. After putting on the exhaust I have had it to 68 mph and still pulling. That was with the stock tires, and no additional mods. I haven't swapped back to my 27" Outlaws yet but I'll let you know what I get then. If you are OK with load exhaust go for the Pro Circuit!
