After doing more research about tires .There is a good article at www.atvnews.com
Mud bath 24 ,17 ,28 ioch tires .It's down to 2 tires

1) IPT Blackwater XT 27 inch which test say they are smoothest riding big tire. But are not as good in thick mud but are great all around abilities on trails, mud, and snow. Will clog up in thick mud. Better for utility work.

2) Mudrunners 26 0r 27 inch This is very good Mud tires. Were one of the smoothest tires out of all the ones tested.Tracking was great can carve throught the mud.

How much speed will I lose with 27 inch tires on my 650.

I have read good things about the Dirt Devils but are rough on trials since I think they are 6 ply.I have also read the same thing about ITP 589 they are very rough not not forgiving.
What is the different between the 589m/s and 589m/t?

I never put this much throught into tires for my car.Any sugguestion what I should put on my 650. I dont do very deep mud but not yet anyway.

Also What did the dealer do or check on your first service .They want me to bring it back after 20 hrs. I just want to make sure I get everything checked out.
How much did your dealer charge for first service ?
Is it hard to install warn 2500 winch and polw hooup. My stuff is sitting at the dealer I am thinking of puttting all on my self I know how to turn a wrench.

Tooth ache is killing me otherwise I be riding

I read the Mudbath tire test article too.
My Bi/Tri claws are the most awsome mud tire I've ever run, yet they rated the Muddrunners even better in mud! PLUS they scored excellent for all other types of riding, AND easy steering! I guess that would make them the "perfect" tire, IF you can believe what you read in the mags...
That's why I'm here looking for second opinions from real life riders.

I think Yukon Ron is right about the possibility of being misled by that ATVnews test, and that BiClaws and TriCLaws are awesome.

How do I know? I can't afford to own every tire, but I have tried to read every honest tire oppinion on this forum. Plus, the people at croffroad ride all the tires they sell a lot more than the people did for the mud tire shootout. Another thing about that ATVnews mud tire shootout is that the Biclaw/Triclaw in the 25" category is not even the same tire as the one in the 28" test, different day, different quad. That tire store I talked to says mudrunners do not even go in the same category as far as mud is concerned as the higher rated ones on the 28" test.

Nothing really comes down to a single "this tire is the best tire", but you can possibly say "this tire is the best tire for the riding combination I like".

It is true that the mudrunner provides a good combination of softer ride plus mud diggin, and might be someone's best pick, but other tires CERTAINLY are better in the mud. Again, I get this from other opinions, but from what I can tell Claws, outlaws, mudzilla, vampires, ITP 589, and maybe some others are better in the mud than mudrunners. But, the previously mentioned lot are mostly harder riding and some don't even perform well on the trail so you have to decide what is your best tire.

I am keeping two sets of tires so I can have a choice. That is how I could justify an agressive mud tire. I almost decided to by biclaw/triclaw. I just remeber how fast, strong, tough to kill Godzilla was in that movie and had to get the tire that was named after it.

Those stock tires seemed to work really well on the grass, pavement, and groomed trails I have been on. I have hated them elsewhere. I know kawasaki was just rying to save money and weight, but I wish that they put mudrunners or blackwater XT or something else better than the stock ones, because when you take this super shiny new first utility quad with 2 cylinders on a ride with someone else's older model that already put better tires on, you get laughed at because his tires got him through a mud pit better than you made it. Talk about a case of tire envy. So all you can do then is challenge the guy to a drag race, hurry home and figure out what tire to get.

I would be willing to go to PA, Adirondaks NY, or Watertown to ride with you. I guess I could go further, depending on the place and date.

I ride a lot in Cuba. Too many trails, to talk about, but mostly pretty forest and not much exciting. I rode in PA twice, sproul and marienville/timberline. They were a blast. I plan to ride around Lowville, NY which is in the adirondack area. The most fun ride I went on was in washington park near watertown, NY. I posted pictures some of my rides at http://atv.dnsalias.com. This website is hosted on my PC. Most of the photos are of other people. I always forget to take pictures at the best spots. The watertown ride is the one called "The gulf". Washington park is not private, but the cool stuff is private, but not posted. I did not want to advertise where it was or what it was called on that website so that people did not flock to it and get it closed down. I know a lot of people may read this, but if they went to watertown they would find washington park, but not find the private land that I called "the gulf".

I just lost my job. But the Quad, and the Truck are paid for! No credit card debt. Unemployment pays the bills. I don't have to find a job for a while so I can ride often. If I can just keep the costs down to just gas and food, maybe I can ride a lot.

bigdonney, can you ride during the week? I just emailed tampavii. I do not know of more than 4-8 hours worth of riding in watertown. I hope I can find the place again.
