Ok! I will post photos next week when I get my mudzillas. I only got steel wheels, but I am on a diet to lose 12 lbs to make up for it. That should be cheaper than buying aluminum (12 lbs less total). Yeah, I want aluminum, but the bank said no.

Mudzilla only comes in 28", and I got the 8 inch wide for the front and the 12 wide on the back. Unless you feel like you need to race people, I feel a bigger diameter is the best way to go to get a little more clearance.
I chose narrower tires on the front to keep the steering easier. I got the wide ones in back (i hope they fit) to get as much snow and mud bite as I can get.
I think if I were to pick between the tires you mentioned, I would get the mudrunner and just mount them on the factory wheels. The mudrunner has a softer ride and I feel makes it good enough to completely replace the factory tires. The mudrunner is really good in the mud, per what I have read. I want to eventually use them on my original wheels. I can just sell my old tires on ebay.
The mudzilla is not supposed to be as rattly of a ride as other serious mud tires like outlaws, but I think I will be better off with a second set to get me through the dry season and places with a lot of pavement riding.

Friend of mime got some 27 inch 589's for his AC 500.Right when i saw them i was like WOW.Then it was how much air do you have in your tires?,he was running right on the end of the knobbies and only had 5 pds of air in them.Well we go riding and he noticed a vibration from 0-10 mph and said that they rode rougher then his former 26 inch Bearclaws but had awesome traction.
When we get back he puts the bike in the box of his truck an noticed that one rear tire is a lot larger than the other.Turn's out the was a hole in the tire that took three plugs to patch.
We have been riding for over 2 years in those trails with our bearclaws and have never had a flat.
Just thought i'd let you know.Oh yeah he brought them down to 3 pds
and they seem OK.
PS if you get the Mudrunners get the 26 inch, the 25 inch are smaller than stock tires.

SteveXplor, how do the Mudrunners and Dirtdevils compare to the Kenda Bearclaws and the original Dunlops for weight and smoothness of ride? I was told that the Bearclaws are 4 ply, so aren't too heavy. Around here they are very reasonable for price, so I am interested in them for my old Prairie. I have heard that they (the Bearclaws) ride quite softly and wear very well, and are a very good all-around tire. Is that what you have found? Also, are their 25" tires the same height as the Dunlops, or should I go to 26"?
