No problemo!

A) 25-inchers and even larger tires clear Bayou steel and plastic easily; I followed a pair of Mudrunner 25-inch-equipped Bayous through the exquisite slime involved in over 30 miles of Cochranton (PA) Poker Run trails last year,

B) The Bayou has enough oats to turn 'em; anyway, you've got a low range standing by if any problems develop in this area; howver

C) The 24" OEM tires are pretty good! I'd wait and see if I REALLY needed bigger, more agressive tires before I sprung for 'em (a winch costs less, lasts longer, and provides additional capabilities much greater than any set of mud tires you can find, but--nothing says you can't have both).

Going up an inch in diameter shouldn't be a problem, but be careful with the width. I had 12.5's on the rear and 10's up front and I had to install spacers on the hubs so the tires could clear the springs and steering joints.
Again, note the wisdom of the noble Tree Farmer- a good winch will rescue you from more situations than oversized mud tires.

I've got a bayou300 2x4, 25's on the back 12" wide

No problem with the motor turning them at all......but you will probably need spacers for wider widths......I had to get spacers for mine!

have fun ,
