I finally ordered my parts from Rockymountain yesterday. I ordered Razar tires, mounted on Douglas .190 rims, IDS 2 exhaust, K&N jet kit, and UNI filter. I have 13/41 gearing to make up for the smaller Razor tires (20x11x10). The exhaust was on backorder and should be in by friday afternoon, then another 6-8 days for shipping to my house. When I get my parts I will let you guys know how they fit. Just a couple questions: What jetting are you guys running? (Main jet, needle clip position, Air Mixture screw...) Also, how many discs do you have in your exhaust? (Quiet series Are there a lot of problems with the fitting of the exhaust? Please respond.

When I had my quiet core in, I ran it open-no discs, according to Supertrapp that was the same as 12. You will have to play with jetting, because we all live in different climates and altitudes-hard to give advice on that.

Your parts should fit just fine. Sometimes you have to work with the megaphone pipe and the muffler by twisting in different directions to get an angle on the pipe where it does not rub the frame. As far as disc go, read the instructions from Supertrapp. I believe it will tell you that the quite series will increase flow up to about 10 discs. After that the muffler is at its limit of flow so adding discs does nothing. The race series will keep flowing more as long as you add disc. If you have the quiet series (I think that is all Rocky Mtn caries) then put the maxium number of discs required to reach maxium flow or even one more to be sure you are at max flow. The Mojave engine will work best at high revs and the more free the exhaust the more power up top.

Can't tell you about a K&N jet kit. I always just go up on the main and readjust.

Good luck with your new toys

I didn't get the front Razors yet because of the money. When I get enough I will get front razors on rims with complete skids and plastics. But, I want a new bumper, and I really like the AC racing. The DG looks alright. Where can I get that AC??

Kawi250, unfortunately you can't purchase it. Mickey Dunlap made it using AC Racing components. You can buy one for a 400EX and modify it. Remember this....I have two metal tubes welded to my frame that the top mounts are bolted to. You might want to call AC and see if they can produce a bumper for you.

If there are anymore questions....just let me know. I'm here to help.

ALso, I just revamped my website a little. Go to www.racewebcreations.com and go to My Mojave Specs and look at the Close-Up gallery. I'm still working on the Close-up gallery.

AC makes a bumper for the Mojave, I have one on my Lakota. I like the way Lurch's mounts, but mine just bolted on. You might have to call AC direct to get one.

About the AC bumper, Dennis Kirk used to sell them for the Mojave. I ordered one last year around this time of year and it was on back order for a few weeks and then I was notified that it was discontinued from AC. Atleast that's what the Dennis Kirk people told me, so I bought an Armadillo from Rocky Mountain. I think the AC was sweet, but that kind of stuff happens.

I have 3 more bumpers like Lurch's I can sell in pieces. You will need to weld them together yourself and put the tabs on the frame like I did his. If you need to see a closer view of it, ask Lurch to e-mail a picture to you. You can call me between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday (814-842-6159) or e-mail me at mdunlap@bedford.net.
