Sure would like to know for sure if there is a recall on the carbs.

 

go to www.buykawasaki.com and go to "vehicle information" and type in your vin and it will tell you if there is a recall for your quad.

 

Thanks for the info Jefffoxsr. Mine isn't on any recall list yet. Did get new choke cables paid for by Kawasaki.Will check out if it still backfires next Wednesday. Ive learned more about the 650's on this forum than anywhere else.It helps me to keep a dealer informed. Thanks to the forum I've had Mobil 424, 6 weeks before any dealer in the St Louis area.
