We got major snow last night so I had to take the 650 out for a spin to try it out in the snow. With the diff lock and in high gear, this thing is awesome in snow. Even with my stock tires on, I had no trouble going everywhere I wanted to go. We got about 2 feet of snow last night and there is at least 2' everywhere and some 3' snowbanks and I had no trouble getting through and breaking trails especially with the diff lock.

The one thing that concerns me is that the front of the radiator cakes up with snow and it is very difficult to clean out on the trail. The snow just sits in there (above winch, infront of radiator) and can't get out unless the plastic sides are taken off or it melts.

Wow, I am amazed that it can push a foot of snow without high centering. There is only about 10" clearance under the quad. Were the tires in contact with the ground in order for you to move, or were you just floating along the top like a river boat? We got about 2 feet in Michigan, just NOT where I am. We haven't even received an inch this year where I am and it's killing me. I wanted to see how much it would take to get me stuck. I figured about 12-15", but maybe not. I am real surprised the stock tires did so well.
Thanks for the update and keep us updated on how the quad does. For example, how much better does the quad do when you pull the lever? How much can you get through in 2wd?
