I went through the same thing when I bought my T4. Unfortunatly Kawasaki only had a sticker by the a-arms for the vin on the frame and the seller never got the title, back then titles were not as big a deal as they are today. Anyway what I did is just had the seller use the engine vin and write me a bill of sale, this will be enough to get you an ORV sticker.

thanks FuelandFire,

this really sux!

my best friend bought a T4 about 5 years ago, he neglected to change the title over to his name. just recently he needed money really bad and sold the T4 to my dad for cheap. he told my dad he would look for the title, but now he cant find it. that was about 2 months ago. my dad just sold the T4 to a guy in southern california and needs the title. my best friend doesnt remember the guy who he bought it from so we cant go back to him. we've been looking all over the t4 to find the vin, but like i said we cant find it. that makes sense though, sticker... i'll have to email my dad and let him know to try the engine #. we know the t4 was last titled in Washington but that is it. this is turning into a nightmare!

if anyone else has some other ideas, send them this way.
thanks again,
Rick

well if you have the VIN, its easy.. just go to the DMV or vehicle licensing and have them run the vin.. or.. there are websites online that u can check your vin .. but it costs money online.
hope that helps you.
