are tecate 4 swing arms or a-arms interchangeable with any other quad?

is there any swing arm that i could put on there to make it longer.like of a lokata or something maybe a lt250r..and the same question about the a-arms?

No. They're all uniquely engineered to a particular model. If you know somebody that is good at Tig-welding aluminum, the stock Tecate swingarm is a cinch to lengthen. That's how the one on my '88 was done (2" longer than stock). I'm going to do the same to my '87 swingarm, and experiment with a little more length (3"-4&quot. As far as A-arms, good luck! Plus, '87 and '88 A-arms are NOT interchangeable.

thanks for the info..can you tell me how the guy lengthened it? did he just saw it in half and add more to it?
