What is a good pipe to run on the Mojave? If any of you have seen one for sale at a good price please let me know as well, we went out to Gecko this past weekend and the Mojave definately needs some more power. I want Olds in 3 gear and I just couldnt quite do it. I raced a 400EX and was smoking him through 2nd gear but he was able to shift up to 3rd and walked past me. I dont expect to able to outrun 400s but I should would like to see 3rd gear on Olds and I think a pipe combined with my UNI pod and a jetting should get me there. Thanks, Aaron.

I would get the white brothers e-series it's a great pipe and has an awsome bark to it and some very nice power gains.

Go with the Supertrapp IDS2 or Race Series. You will not be disappointed.

I have a white bros e-series on mine and it works well. It sounds great and the sound is very intimidating. White Bros also has very good quality pipes. With the e-series you don't have to rejet either. I guess on some mojaves people have had to rejet but on mine it works perfect with the kn kit. It also produces a much better low end through mid range pull. Hope this helped.

hey Aaron,

My son's Mojave is running a supertrap IDS2 with a K&N and after getting the jetting right on this thing is awesome for a 250 4 stroke, It Has great sound not overly loud but you can tell there's something going on back there. You'll get a new head pipe also for a good price from Rocky Mountain ATV.

If you go with the IDS2, make sure you get the race series-it is straight thru, unlike the the quiet series which has a baffle in the core. I have both and the race series really opened my Mo up. When I got mine Rocky Mtn didn't carry the race, but Dennis Kirk did.

If you're not jetting after installation how much power is it really making? I cant imagine its making anything really.

I'll check out the IDSII, sounds like the pipe to beat. Anyone got one for sale?

If you don't rejet to let more gas in, there's not much differnce, except for sound. I did this 1st, so I do know. Jetting is cheap and easy, and it can give large gains if done properly.

Most slip on systems don't require rejetting. I noticed all kinds of power and if you go to the white bros web page and look at the dyno sheet it says there is no need to rejet and they got a 22% hp gain at 6200rpm. If you would use more than 12 discs than you might have to rejet.

22% wow thats incredible.
You know it has amazed me, I only switched to quads last august, do you realize how much money it cost to get 22% out of o motocross or sport bike. Poeple are realy getting this power out of these pipes too. It just shows how clamped down these quads are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
