What is the Auxiliary power outlet on the rear of the quad for? Do you need to add the power outlet onto the circuit to be able to use it, or is it for some special Kawi accessories?

It's for any accessories, just like using your car lighter to power other things. I use mine for spot lights and a cell phone charger.

Im talking about the power outlet on the rear of the quad, under the right rear fender. I'm not refering to the power outlet on the front of the machine. The outlet on the rear is inside of a rubber boot and you would need to unwrap it. The plug on it is a 2 prong plug one male and one female end.

The plug is a standard 12v connector commonly found on 2 way radios & some other automotive type accessories. Like it says in the owner's manual, be sure to use an inline fuse for anything you attatch to it or there'll be no protection for the main fuse that protects the entire electrical system. The front lighter-type plug up front does have it's own fuse in the fuse block.
