I had a Grizzly 660 and traded it for a Prairie 650 because that was what all of my buddy's were riding. We had a house fire and the Prairie, along with a Kodiak, were destroyed. What did I replace my Prairie with? Another Prairie 650 - I think they are the best sport/utility machine on the market and I highly recommend them. I have also ordered a Prairie 360 to replace the Kodiak.

I've had my 650 now for about a year now. I love it! No problems with it yet. Had a Rubicon before but took a $2000.00 hit when I traded it in. It was worth it though. After riding a 250r and banshee forever the Prairie was more my riding style. I can still hang with the sport quads and can still have all the fun of a 4x4. Would by another one it I had the money. Good Luck to all that ride!

man i just rode a 650 the other day, and it was bad, it had the new procircut t4 pipe on it, it was bad sounding, but these dealers are way to pricey, i found out today what they give for them, so listen up

1. they pay the 5846.00 for the bike
2. they charge 150.00 for freight
3. they also charge 37.00 for assembly
4. 5959.00 is what they have in the bike total

so what ever they charge else is nothing but PROFIT, so go figure
im trying to sell my lakota so i can get one myself, if i trade it in they are wanting to lay it to me HARD,but i dont want that ahahhahahah
if you know any body wanting a 97 lakota drop me an email, it just been used on the farm nothing much more

I agree with all above replys .
Have 150 miles on my 650 only problem was shift lingage adjustment. My only complaint and sure other will feel the same way was having to spend an additional $400.00 to replace the stock tire .You might be happy with them at first but as soon as I changed them to 26 inch goodyear mudrunner you see how bad the stock dunlop where.I can go 10 to 15 MPH faster on same trails that I did with stock tires. What stock tires on flat pavement I hit 63 mile with 26 inch mudrunner 58mph.
You will not use all the power this qaud has.

Tampavii, your mudrunner enthusiasm has just about made me undecided about what tire to get. I was thinkin about blackwater XT cuz they are really light.

Its ok. I am sure whatever tire I get will have more redeeming qualities than the stockers.

Anything will be alot better then the stock tires .I have heard good things fromthese massege board are blackwaters. I forget where but one of these mags has A review of 26 and 27 inch tires. After reading it I decided on the mud runners.
Also check out www.treadepot.com this site has good picture of just about every tire made plus good prices.
Let me know what you get

I am going to ride in Cuba, NY, next weekend on the 1st and 2nd. You can come. It is easy to get there. The ride won't be overly aggressive.

I have aggressive 28" Mudzilla's, which I like a lot for the bad weather, but I am thinking about what tire to put on the stock rims to ride on harder trails, but not suffer too bad on an occasional muddy spot. I have narrowed my search down to:

1. 27" Blackwater XT. (light, hopefully this ones ride the best)
2. 27" ITP 589 M/S. (light, may be just a little more aggressive than I want for dirt) 92LT says they stink for handling.
3. 27" Mudrunners. (may be heavy, I already have a mud tire)

Cuba is south western NY. NYTRO (new york trail riders assoc) owns land just for ATV riding. No pesky snowmobiles. My bro has a small patch of land to park down there, and a pit to light a fire.

I've also been reading the honda, yamaha, and polaris boards for oppinions on tires. The data on blackwater XTs is not very informative.
