Which of these Dirt Devil XT's or Gators will ride better on hard pack? Can get them both for about the same price. I want to keep the "sport" in my sport/utility and still get better ground clearance and better mudding than stock. Anyone have these? Do they measure up taller than stock 25" Dunlops?

 

traxterman i am getting 27s .which would you recommend dirt devils xt model or the gators?also would you go 10 in wide all the way around or 8 in in front?i have 650 prairie also.love it awesome machine!!!

 

I have 27x12x12 in the rear and 26x10x12 if front on stock rims. This gives me a little more clearance and much better traction than stock.

 

I have 26 inch dirt devils, they are the best riding mud tire, absolutely no low speed bumpyness.
even on tar, they feel like stockers!!!!

 

Grizzjeeper, from what you said in another post, the 26" DD's measure the same as stockers. Looks like I might be going back to 27x8 and 27x10 Mudbugs or 27" DD's. I've heard all different measurements....where do you guys measure from and to? My 26" MT's measure 26.25" with 5PSI from floor to top of lug.

 

I measured mine on concrete with 4.5 psi. Even if I put 7 psi in the rear I get 25"
Deffinately go with 27's. The stock tires measured .25 inch taller than my dirt devils...
