Thanks Rammy,
The videos are great. Still am up in the air as to whether to buy the 650 or 700 Sportsman. I really like the IRS on the 700. What type of off-road handling does your Kawi do? Is it stable, can it go through lots of mud?

Hey DUstanko
Forget the sportsman. It's over weight, overpriced, and under powered. As for independent rear, the only thing it's good for is the dealer selling more parts. More movin parts, More junk to wear out or break. Just my honest opinion, although, I have an opinion on everything.

Guys, I bought a Kawi 650 today. No 700 for this guy afterall.
Thanks guys for your info and advice. My only hangup with the Kawi 650 was the IRS. I drove a Polaris 700 and really liked the ride and smoothness. But then my buddy and I drag raced in front of the Kawi/Polaris dealership with each machine; and no matter who drove it, the 650 always came out of the hole 4-5 lengths ahead of the Polaris. But the salesman told me that the Kawi suspension is so simple that it will not catch tall grass and slough bottom debris like the Polaris will. And that is where I often go during hunting season. He also said that the Kawi is so light that rocks and abnormal bumps in the road are easily handled as the Kawi with its light weight just glides right over. And with all the moderate ditches and trails around my house the 650 will be a hoot to drive. Can't wait to pick it up Friday. We also are getting 8 inches of snow now as we speak and tonight so I should get to have fun with it right away.

Thanks, Can't wait to run n gun. I thought about the rear tire aspect. All that throttle-down that I did in test rides made me think of that. I am searching online for a jack system to rotate tires. I am also going to get a new set of steel rims and some Rawhides. I think if I always have two sets of tires I will be alright.

I put 26 inch mudrunner on my 650 Kaw and love them.
Has anyone used a thumb saver or know where I can get a twist trottle for my 650. I just go back from the doctor with pulled legiments in my right thumb I guess its from the trottle. Few cortizon shots and split.
My thumb is hurting but want to ride NOW
Need to figure out how to put on twist trottle HELP ANY INFO
