2003 650 prarie when not in four wheel drive seems just one wheel is driving. Is there a limited slip problem ? I ride in Florida and have alot of sugar sand so it seems as though it's getting harder to drive through it in 2 wheel drive

Default Not happy with my 650 prairie

My wife bought her new 650 about the same time I bought my new Honda 500 Rubicon in 2001. As of date, her 650 has logged more garage and mechanic time way more than my Honda. Where do I start. First the sensor in the trans that helps slow the machine down when going down hill failed. Just about put her in a bad situation. Second, had a major coolant leak that required about a week at the shop to fix. Bad impeller seal. Nothing but carb problems, fan quit running. Great machine about the first couple of years, after that it seems that I have to put more time and money to keep it running than a Nascar team getting ready for Daytona. Would love to keep the machine, but at this point, it is becoming a money pit. Only about 375 miles on machine because like I said it should have more miles, but cannot keep it running. Parts are very expensive. Need to replace both diaphragm's at about $140 a piece and yes the machine has scheduled services done.

Default Why only 55 mph and specs say 105mph stock?

I recently purchased a used 650 and it runs great but it will only do 55mph, it will lay down some pretty good black marks on the road and run over pretty much anything but I would like to get a little more top end
