That makes me feel a little better about the price that I paid although it's still a better deal than what I got. Be aware that the Eiger prices may go up soon. That $300 or so deal that Suzuki was offering last year that was supposed to end on December 31st is still quietly going on for now - according to my dealer. That gives the dealer another $300 to deal down. MSRP for the 4x4 man. is 5,299.

What does GA require for state land riding privileges? As I said in the post above, Tennessee requires a TDS sticker. To get a TDS, you must have a title. To get a title, you must pay sales tax - even if you buy a used bike. You don't have to do the title stuff if you only run on private land but I have to, as most of my riding is in state WR areas. Plus, the TDS sticker works as an exchange for some other states - I sometimes ride in Wisconsin and with a Tennessee TDS sticker I'm treated just like a Wisconsin resident.

All in all any of those prices you quoted are pretty good.

Jaybee

I did look at them again today, and there is NO speedo??? Why in the world did Kawasaki make such a well designed and good looking machine -without a standard speedometer? They do look good, I saw the red one.

I personally would not let a speedometer have any infulence on buying a quad , I have never saw a use for one except a luxury item , but I have always been a hard trial rider , never saw a need for one, My last 4 have had them and they all worked good , but that is more stuff fix if they quit and they are expensive to replace if they do. I wish sometimes all the 4-wheel companies would quit putting on all the extra stuff and drop those prices for us that just like to ride and have a good time.
Have a good day everyone

A friend of mine got a 360 today for $5200 out the door. He brought it over today afterwork. I like the new red color. It is a nice quad but I have spent too much time on a 650! I need the power! Maybe it would be a good quad for my wife. It is a nice quad but my 650 is an awsome quad!

How in the heck are people getting there quads so cheap? I have seen a few people get $5200 out the door for the 360 and others who have got the 650 for like $6,200 out the door. Are there states that don't charge sales tax on quads or what? The best I have found so far in PA is $5,700 out the door for a 360 and $6,800 for the 650. These prices are based on (360) $5,200 plus like $400 for tax and $100 for license/state registration. I am just curious as to why they are so cheap some places.

In Arkansas if you own 10 acres you can sign a waiver at the dealer that your quad is for farm use and you will have no taxes and there is no state registration fee.

The 12inch wide tires in rear balloon out and do not stand as up very tall for 27inch tires. I tried 27x10x12's on the front and it made my fronts taller than the rear with 27x12x12's. I had to go to a 26x10x12 in front to make everything the same.
