I love my praire 650 but wish the front suspension was a bit better. Where we ride, Crooms, FL. there are TONS of whoops on all the trails and the faster i go the front suspension cant keep up and the quad then starts going wherever it want regardless of steering inputs. It either needs a different rebound or compression adjustment, but basically "as is" does not do a very good job for me when the pace increases. Any suggestions for improvements?

Progressive Suspension

It won't change the rebound but the progressive rate spring should make for a better ride.

Hi James,

We offer our spring pre load kits for the Prairie which retail for $169 through any local motorcycle shop. The kit consists of 2 springs with our collar adjusters. You can check these kits out on the ATV page of our web site www.progressivesuspension.com. The part number for this kit would be 31-2006.
Thanks

Josh

hey i have also rode my prarie in the woops at crooms what i figured out after i switched to 27'' mudrunners on douglas wheels the *** end was a little heavier and droped quicker in the whoops so with that mod and leaning back i was able to run wide open on the back stretch of crooms west side going north or south gets a little scary but if you hold on tight sheel do it
