Did everybody follow the breakin procedure in the manual.Or did anyone run it full throttle when they first got it. Would it hurt it to run it full throttle. i always hurd that you should break it in like your going to ride it.

My cousin gave me some words of wisdom on this topic, althought i do not have a 650, it is the same for all quads. He said that if you ride it like a granny in the beginning, it will be that wy for life. in other words take no heed to this warning. I think it is only a precausion set out by the manufacturer just to cover there own @ss. I have had 3 new quads and rode it hard form the day out of the crate, and never had anything happen to me. so it all boiles down to the type of person you are. do you live by the rules, or are they ment to be broken. I have about 20 hours on my bike, and I have hit it hard since day one. As soon as I rode it off my truck at my house, I had it floored, and thus far no problems.
