Yesterday, I was testing out a new trail. I had to cross a creek, and go up an embankment that went up about 20 feet. It wasn't too steep, but my Lakota just couldn't handle it. I ended up getting completely barried in mud, and I had no way out. I ended up having to walk 2 miles to get a couple buddies to help dig me out and push the Lakota up the hill. I got home and got to thinking that if I would of had a winch on my Lakota it would have made my day a whole lot easier. I have been looking for a winch mounting kit for a Lakota Sport, but I have had no luck. Anybody have any suggestions?

 

Not sure about a Lakota Sport, however, if you go to Kawi's website they have a winch mount. Not sure how it attaches exactly, but worth looking into. I do know that it sticks out and could get hung up if going down or up a steep grade.
