Oh,I forgot the most important part.I drive a truck,so I'm not home much.Maybe 1 sunday a month.I get 1 weeks vacation.I chose this week(4-3/4-10) to be my vacation.I have (had) planned to go to Dumont dunes in so.cal this weekend,before it gets too hot.So this has ruined my vacation too. GRRRRRRRRRR!

Man that realy sucks, not only took the rings but the vacation as well.

I took my parts to my closest Kawi shop(1 hour away).They were able to remove the broken bolt from the cam by putting the cam in a vise,Then they heated it with a torch and used vise grips to get the bolt out.They said they have never seen one that tight.

I did have to order the cam gear,the bolt,the air boot and a 1st over piston/rings/clips/gaskets ect($250).

They measured the cylinder and determined that it is egg shaped.Infact if you put a ring down the cylinder you can see light where the ring is not hitting the cylinder.

They said the parts may be in as early as monday,but probly more like friday,Then they have to send the cylinder out to be bored.So most likely it will be a couple of weeks before I put it back together.

Hope I can remenber where all them dowel pins go!
