Has anyone heard or tried the new white brothers or suppertrapp exhaust yet? Im trying to find the best exhaust for the money. Im also looking at the hmf and big gun exhaust.But I cant find a place that sells the biggun or find a price for it.

 

highlifet has the big gun in a kit with filter. Maybe they'll sell just the exhaust if ya ask. My dealer has the bare muffler hangin on the wall.

I know I can make my own collector, and do at least as good of a job as the big boys do. Therefore I could use a whitebrothers E serious to get the most power.

But, I won't do that because E series is the loudest, from what I hear, and I wanna get the quietest. FMF has the Q series, which is supposed to not be so loud. Although there is no kit for the 650, I can easily make a collector and use a Q series.

 

I do know that the HMF muffler is NOT U.S. Forestry Service approved! I called the factory. I ride in Wayne Nat'l. Forest a lot. I have been told that there is a SEVERE fine for running without an approved spark arrester!

 

I read about HMF not having Forest aproval. I bet supertrapp and White Bros are.

A lot of FMF's mufflers are approved, it is kinda hard to tell because they do not tell you very clearly. The Q series uses the words "all legal" (whatever that means) and others say "forest legal". If I was gonna do it, I would make sure and ask first.

 

My Honda 450-S FMF Mega II is approved IF the proper components are installed.
I keep hearing rumors that FMF is coming out with a muffler for the P-650. The dealer here in Columbus OH. was telling me that it was coming out. DO NOT KNOW for sure.
