Who has a Pro Design kill switch on their Lakota and what wires do you splice into? I have heard of people blowing fuses by connecting to the coil.........so which wires do I use?

Thanks for any help...

Hay 98 sorry for the delay: I checked out the way mine is wired. The wire from the main body of the kill switch is spliced into the green wire with a white stripe. The wire from the part that will slide into the main body is grounded to the frame. Let me know if it works for you. Dave

When you buy the switch the instructions tell you how to wire it to an ATV with and without a battery. So you know, with a battery you will install the short wire to ground. The long wire will go to the pulse trigger wire on the stator. You really need a wiring diagram to find out which on this is. The only other way is to remove the stator cover and see which wire is coming from a little black box.

Without a battery, the long wire is hooked to the wire going into the coil.
Hope this helps

I would have read the instructions, but I got this switch in trade for some welding on another machine.

Thanks NTHEWND, worked like a charm....see you at Loretta's
