Guy
Check out www.tiredepot.com this is place I purchased my Mudrunners .Whatever you guys decide anything will be better then the stock dunflops. You will think that you just got a new 650 once you but on some real tires. Few trails that I ride with stock tirea at say 15 mph I can now hit the same turns at 25 to 30 mph.
Good luck
Had same problem deciding on tires too. Glad I chose mudrunners no flat or plugs with 300 miles on them .
I just installed my GPS so can now see what this beast can do on top end

tampavii, how did you install your GPS? I can't find a good place to mount mine anywhere. Did you use a RAM mount? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

i may be a little to late on replying to this forum, but, i recently put 589 m/s in 26inch size on my atv and love them. they don't vibrate to much at low speeds and seem to run smooth at high speed,

i tested them in an area where i previously never made it through without pulling the dif, mabey it was just confidence or experience rideing this trail but after the 589's were put on i now make it through in 2wd low, and can feel tremendous pull in all power ranges, a friend of mine has the mudrunners in 26" and seem to be happy also but all i can say is, anything will be a step up from the factory dunlops,

good luck with your decision i'm sure you will be happy with any of your choices you are looking at all quality tires.

I had extra GPS from my boat which the unit was small for boat but alittle big for 650. But I just mounted it on the front rack near where it says Kawasaki then mounted the antenna on the back rack .

You might be able to mount it to the mirror bolt hole on the handle bar. or maybe use Ram mount and bolt it to the air box top .
If you want pic of my unit mounted e mail me
I also made up my own winch switch for my 2500 winch because there was nowhere to mount the remote switch on the bar

I have a Prairie 650 and have been very happy with it. I was going crazy trying to compare all the brands and models. I settled on the engine and the 2/4 wheel drive setup and jumped in on blind faith based on my experience with Kawi street bikes. You'll hear lots of comments about soft suspension, poor factory tires etc. The pros far outweigh the cons and you'll adapt to some things and change others as you go along. Out of the box it is a fantastic machine. Don't think you have to change anything right away. Learn how to ride it the way it is then gradually "make it yours". You can't go wrong with this machine....it's better, then better.

Irun my 650 with some 27 mud bugs, great tires, real tuff, I ran them on hard stuff, roads, and they are just starting to wear out, only thing with the mud bugs, is that they miss lateral bite, when in stikkiy situation, he quad just wants to go forward, don't think of turning out of the mud, well it will, but it'S hard. as for the power, the mud bugs are the lighter tires in their class, with 27, I don't find I have lost a lot of power

Sorry, I took so long to get back to this. I got the Warn rocker switch from my dealer. They are about $50 and I've seen them at many dealers. I get plenty of comments on it. Everyone I ride with has the standard dial switch. As for the Gators, they only measure about 9" wide. They fit inside the fender wells nicely and handle really good for an aggressive tire. I have commented before that they ride like a stock tire, but alot more stable. The steering actually seemed easier after getting the new rubber. I also was worried about the 10" wide fronts, but they fit and handle alot better than I thought. Hope this helps ya out.
