650 Seizure/Vapor lock?

Partsman2: That makes sense. I'm glad someone found an answer for this. I am confident that this is the problem. Both times it started ok after I opened the gas tank and released pressure that I have never had (except the times when the quad does this siezure thing). I transport the quads anywhere from 3 to 5 hours to ride and don't get in the habit of shutting the fuel off ever. This theory definately makes sense, especially if it came from a Kawasaki rep. Hopefully they are informing ALL dealers about the problems that are arising with these 650's.
I checked the oil but can't determine if there is gas in it or not. It looks normal, with the smell of burnt gas/petroleum, but all used oil smells like this. I think I will change the oil anyway. What are you guys using when performing your own oil changes (type of oil I mean)???
