gps mount on 650
#2
I have a Garmin GPSII which I mounted on the left handle bar. I made a small aluminum plate bent at right angle with a 1/4" hole on the bottom plate, this hole I use to bolt this bracket to the left handle bar where a threaded hole is for a mirror mount (you have to pull the small plastic plug out). On the adjacent side of the bracket, I drilled a small hole that I use to mount the GPS, the Garmin has on the back side a small threaded hole for this purpose. I hope this helps.......MJSTX

On my brother's 650, we took a 5/8" diameter painted steel tube (came from a closetmaid system), bent it into a nice radius and bolted it to the bars through the Suzuki mirror mount holes by each brake lever. He clamps the GPS off to the left side. Then I made him a clamp-on pair of driving lights to stick on whenever he goes night riding. With the tube radius bent to mimic the curve of the front bar plastic and painted black, it looks like it was supposed to be there.

The 'zuki mirror mounts are two tapped holes in the base of the brake lever mounts. I'm pretty sure they are set up for 10mm metric bolts. They come with a plastic plug to cover them up.

Ram makes a mount that screws into the mirror mount, if i didnt already have the mount that i already have i would have bought the one that fits into the mirror.
