I just picked up a used Mojave and it has a maier hood and the headlight and ignition switch has been removed. The previous owner is supposed to be sending me all the factory parts, but it may be a week or so before I get it. are there any wires I can jumper to enable starting?

I am also waiting on the owners manual, are there any specific starting procedures? clutch need to be in? parking brake need to be set? any other starting tips?

If you leave the key switch unplugged the bike will run.So the key switch grounds the coil instead of completing a circut.

If your missing the switch on the handlebars I'm no help,I don't know which wires you need to connect.
