I stopped in here to see if anything new's happenin in Tecate land or the with new 400 "kwadsport".....zip, zilch...NADA! I had to go back weeks to find the last thread. That's the annoying thing about Team Green when it comes to high performance ATVs...ALWAYS the last ones on the scene! Back in the Golden Era of ATV's when 2 strokes ruled the world, they were the last ones to jump in with my beloved Tecate 4 and then the first ones out! The Mojave was state of the art
4-stroke tech. when it came out....in 1987!! So that's 2...count'em TWO sport or high performance ATV's in 15 years. How much longer can the beat the Mojave to death?? At least the Tecate 4 was improved from 87 to 88!

For a company so dedicated to its proud KX Motocross line and program (but still 4-stroke race engine...another last!), it amazes me how slow and stingy they are in the ATV world. When are we gonna see this 400cc sport/high performance 4 stroke ATV allegedly to be named "Tecate"??!!? And there's more to come? a 650 too? I'll even entertain that idea when they finally let this 400 slip out.

Kawi aleady builds a great sport quad, but it has racks and weighs about 600 lbs.

Ask a 400ex owner who's had his tail waxed by a 650 Prairie... He'll confirm it...

I know what you're getting at. The Prairie 600 is a great machine in its own right. But it's not the same as what I'm talking about.
