In the old bayou 220(94) I had boughtwas still in good shape, but when I rode it I noticed that the suspention was not the best. I feel that they could make up grades on the Bayou 220 and other Kawasaki four wheelers.

I was wondering if anyone has a 94 Bayou that I can relate to?

Don't mean to burst anyones bubble but I am close friend with both Bill Ballance and William Yokley. This being the case, it has given me the opportunity to hang aroung with a lot of the Team Kawasaki guys at the races and during testing of their prototype machines. I have heard the Kawasaki guys state several times that Kawasaki has no intentions at this time to make a production 250 racer like the one they have contested the GNCC's with for the last two years. This machine that William races is purely for advertisement purposes according to the Kawasaki reps.

bpace, say it isn't so. I think Kawaski is missing a golden opportunity not producing the KXF250. But, on the other hand their lawyers and marketing department are not recommending it. Which I can understand (sort-of).

I was reading the Fast-Track racing column a little while ago, and they said a reliable source said that the KXF 250 has a good chance of coming out in late 2001.

It would seem logical that it will be coming out, since they have put so much time and effort into the prototype. And not to mention that Yamaha has announced they are coming out with an all new sport quad.

Could be. I hope it is true but I will put a name on my source and that person is the current Kawasaki ATV race team manager. As for right now, I am more apt to believe him than what I read in the Fast Track column, especially when they are not willing to name their source.

Did he say why they won't be coming out with it? Maybe the higher ups told him to say suchs things to try and keep it quite? who knows.

I'm sure they must realize that there is a HUGE demand for such a machine, and would make a nice profit off it.

Would be nice to see another 2-stroke go head to head with that big nosed GAS GAS

I've had two dealer Owners to tell me they have been asked about the 250 2-stroke a zillion times. But, sadly they both say it is pure rumor because of the up coming 2-stroke production ban. SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!!!!!
