Anyone total a 4 Wheler and have had dealings with an insurance company? I am wondering how the payoff is calculated. Mine is a 2001 with 300 miles/40 hours and 10 months old.

Just dont take less than out the door price including all extra goodies - fair depreciation. (get you dealer to help you on this he wants to sell you a new quad) Also just because your polaris dealer helps with the deal dont let him screw you on the price of your new quad. Mine tryed to and that is when I looked at the kawi 650 man am I glad I did. Wrecking my polaris turned out to be a good thing (cheaper than up grading).
Eveyone thinks I dont need to spend 1-3hundred every year for insurance insted they buy extras. These days the big boys cost multi thousands and we need to buy insurance. You and I learned that all to soon. Mine was 6 months old 100-150 miles speedo was crushed I got 100 more than what I paid for it because I got a good price on quad plus $69 winch after they took full price of quad plus full price of winch. I got lucky. Good luck.

I would be absolutely thrilled with $6400 and would settle for $6000.

Do you have a winch? If so I would not take less than 6200.
