I can help you out. I have the 250r shock on mine. It is real easy to do. The only modification is on the swingarm. You'll need to cut off the two little spacers that are welded to the swingarm. You have to do this because the 250r shock is wider at the bottom than the mojave shock. Everything else is a direct fit. The 250r shock is ten times better than the factory mo shock. It has a canister with a little **** you turn for compression adjustment. It has a screw for rebound adjustment and it has a threaded preload adjustment. The shock is also fully rebuildable. I had the shock oil changed and the shock recharged before I put it on and I haven't touched it since. You can jump alot higher and when you land it doesn't feel like the shock will come through the seat like the stock shock. Putting the honda shock on and adding some works shocks in the rear made it handle and feel like a new bike. Hope this helped you out some.
