I've been riding a lot in the snow and have been getting stuck quite a bit. I found that the reverse rev limiter is a pain when you are stuck and you are trying to get out in reverse. Anyways, I mounted a small toggle switch right beside the dash panel on the left hand side. I took apart the housing where the override switch is located and found the wires leading to it. They are yellow/black stripe and a beige color. I spliced into them and ran two wires to my new toggle switch and TADA!! It is way more convenient having the toggle switch, but when the switch is off, you can still use the factory override switch. You have to be careful if you splice into your wires farther down the wiring harness as there are two beige wires in there. Make sure you get the right one.

No, the button is still there and you can still use it when the toggle switch is off. When you turn the switch on, the rev limiter is overrode all the time. It will work good when a guy is plowing snow and you want to back up in a hurry, as you won't have to hold the override button every time.
