Has anyone come across a good woods tire for the Mo or Lakota. I'm consitering the 22x10x10/ 22x7x10 Bandit XC. Has anyone tried these? Is the Maxxis Razr too much grip for the Lakota?

I have a 1997 Kawasaki Lakota as well and found my self needing new tires this winter. I made and excellant choice by selecting Maxxis All Traks for my rears and GBC Dirt Devils for the front, I also bought douglas aluminum wheels for all my tires. They were a great choice and I have never been stuck yet. They rear tires are biters but they only do when they have too. Also a quick tip if you do get the All Traks reverse the tread so that the point of the tire is going forward it keeps you from diging into the mud more. The Front Dirt Devils are excellant tires for the front because of the great steering and the cleaning out of the tire. It's up to you but i think i will never get any other tires other than these.

When I ordered my tires the razzors were un available for my size, so I ordered the hole shot XCT"s. I got the 23X7X10 for the front, most awsome woods racing front there is. They are bigger than the stockers but you talk about bite and NEVER a push in the front in any terrain and at any speed. Even at the MX track they will cut a 3 to 4" groove in the track it self at high speeds.

For the rear The XCT's ended up not being available as well. I ended up getting the shreaders, at the time I needed tires and this is all that any one had in my size. I took 98 lakotas suggestion to get them. I got the 20X11X10 and don't regret any thing about them. I've taken them in just about every terrain and condition you could think of and they work graet and alot cheaper as well.

I always thought I wanted 22" rears for XC racing, but got the 20" and will NEVER get the 22" again. The stock tires measured a true 21 1/2 " were the shreaders measured in at 21", this is a 1/4 inch loss of ground clearence. The 20" wiegh in at 3 pounds less per tire weather you get razzors, XCT's or shreaders. This gives it a good bit more accelleration over the 22's.

I have fastrekkers on the back and they are a great all around tire they hook up in the mud, hardpacked, loose dirt. When i first got these tires over my stockers we went on a riding trip a couple days later and i flipped like 4 times because they where hooking up on hills i could hardley climb with stockers and they also slide pretty good.
