I have a mojave and i need to replace the front wheele bearings!!I went to take the hubs off the spindles and one came off no problem,but teh outher one wount come off!!! Ilook in my book and there is a race that goes over the spindle and through the bearings.This means the race is siezed to the spindle ,,how do i get it off???

I don't have your quad, but when this happens on a car, I gently grind the race, being very careful not to scar the spindle, until it is almost through, then I try to get a chisle to crack it, work it loose or something.

Also, heating the race may help you work it loose, wrenching on it with a pipe wrench. Be careful not to heat the spindle very much.

I have even welded scraps of bars and stuff just to get a way to start pounding with the sledge.

I would try the grinding method first.

You can take a die grinder and cut it off of the spindle. Just take some care not to nic the spindle with the cutter. What i do I stop when im real close to cutting it off and ill take a punch and hammer and break it off the rest of the way. Just dont beat on it too hard.
