Any body running duglas rims on 650?

The lady at rockymauntain told me that the center hole was to small for 650. So I ordered itp c series same price but they are on back order. You know it took me 6 months to decide to get wheels and tires now I dont want to wait. It is like that roll of film I had in my glove box for a year when I took it in to have processed I wanted it back same day.

Yeah I just got 4 douglas rims for my 650. I put my mudzillas on them. I got 12x8 and 12x6. I bought them from tread depot, http://www.treadepot.com
I haven't put them on the quad yet. What did you wanna know? Want me to put one on and make sure it fits? Your question has me concerned enough to go try it.
I like them due to the spacing and the widths they have. I did not like the c series spacing or widths.
They are thick too.

Yeah they fit. It was really easy to mount the tires, but hard as heck to bolt the wheels on.
The center hole is exactly the right size, the bolt holes were not drilled with quite enough clearance, so it is hard to push the rim on. I have the front left one on. See this picture for proof that they fit.
It took a yank to loosen the wheel, then I spun it 180 degrees and gave a second yank and it was loose.
So, they aren't bad wheels, they just fit a little tight. The threads on the lug bolts are filing down the holes where they need it, so it will be easier next time.

A note about the ITP "C" series wheels: The Kaw.P-650 "C" series lug holes are counter bored deep into the casting. You need to buy smaller diameter lug nuts(14MM flats), in order to use a normal socket to install/remove same. While the stock lug nuts fit(I think), you would have to use an extremely thin-walled socket to run them on/off the lug! The replacement lugnuts are cheap, $3.50 for 16 @ Rocky Mtn. ATV, don't forget to order them when you order your "C" wheels.

Maybe this may help. I too read these forums for a few months before deciding on tires. The first place I called was Rocky Mountain ATV. Their prices were incredible but they had backorders on the Gators.
The lady in question is actually the owners' mother. I believe her ATV knowledge is that from learning experiences in taking in customer calls for products. That and having a manual or two by her She was giving me a run around about 27" tires being too being too much for my 650 without a lift. To me it does not sound like Rocky Mountain has the overall tech advice like a Highlifter, but you can't beat their prices. I ended up buying from EastKY as the prices there for Gators were very good.
