Hi All
Just got back from a mud run with my new tires.I had 26 inch Blackwaters on and didn't like the ride .Frankly they sucked in slush during the winter.I put the stock tires back on.
I got a deal on a set of Vamps 26x9.5 on the front and 26x12 on the rear.
Very nice tires.I went through a couple of nasty mud holes in 4x4 first then back through in 2 wheel No problems at all.
I put them on my stock rims and did have to trim off the inside numbs on the tire on the gas tank side.It was scraping BAD.
I also shimed the rim out 1/4 inch with a homemade washer spacer.I guess if I had been patient enough to wait for the wheel spacers that I had ordered to come I wouldn't have had to do this but it was a great weekend for riding So.................!
The ride on hard pack is a bit harsher than the stockers but the stock tires suck in mud as we all know.
No more side slop as the stock tires had alot of it.Much more stable ride.
All in all I am pleased with them.Thought I'd pass this on.
