Camo 650!
#1
My dealer uncrated a camo 650 yesterday. HMMMMM? Can't decide if I like it or not. Kawi website pics looked a lot better than the real deal. Interesting to say the least. They're using the Advantage Camo pattern. Maybe Mossy Oak would look better.
One thing I definately don't like. It is a decal! Underneath is the standard Hunter Green plastic. It's gonna look like hammered dog doodoo after a couple of seasons if scratches cut all the way through to the green plastic.

i have a camo prarie. the camo is not a sticker it is painted on. i just hope i dont have a peeling problem like the silver grizzlys. i have trimmed some plastic off the handle bar shroud and it stuck pretty good . i also have taken it through some pretty nasty brush at wayne national forest and no problems only time will tell.

I looked under the fenders and could see a few spots on the edges where the decal wasn't stuck good. Definately had an edge. Also there is an overspray on the underside of every thing I looked at that looks like it is a glue that was used to prep the plastic before the pattern was put on. I'll give it this. maybe it is a process where the pattern is printed directly on the plastic and it is so thick that it looks like a decal on the edges. from a cost to manufacture stand point I doubt it though.
I think it will be great for minor scratches as they won't show but heavier limbs I'm afraid will break through and cause it to roll up where it has been cut. I've only got 300 miles on my Prairie so far and have several DEEP scratches that are 1/16 of an inch deep. Caught a branch the other day and tore a heavy welders type Khaki shirt.
If they would camo the bars and leave off all of the silly arsed warning stickers it would be really sharp! Um maybe not. I have enough trouble finding my green one when I leave it to hike.
