How does the financing run for the Good Times Plan? My wife and I just bought a new house and car and I was wondering how tough it is to get the approval with a ton of financing already on the books? Does anyone have any experience or stories?

Kawasaki financing works like a credit card. In fact, they actualy send you a card.

The promotions work similar to a credit card offering 6 months free intrest if you transfer a balance. As far as the difficulty of being approved, I would say it probably is similar on getting approved for a credit card with a 7-8K limit. (Not too hard unless your credit is pretty poor or immature) That being said, the only way to find out is to ask. The dealer got my approval in 5 minutes.

hope this helps.

I got approved in about 5 minutes also. I chose to go with 12 months same as cash. Even if I don't pay it off by this time next year, my income tax will be back. DO NOT go over your "no interest" payment time or they hit you with all the interest!

A few things I would be careful with.... I have excellent credit. my debt to income is not a problem either. I say this because I don't want to give the impression that I am not responsible with my money..Its quite the opposite. Ok having said that... I purchased my 650 on the 12 mths no payment program. Figuring I would pay it off Dec 31 2002. I added an accesory to my account a month later. I thought you didn't have to make a payment on your Kawi card until next January. I was wrong. They sent me a bill and I thought it was a mix up so I did 'nt send a payment...they sent me another bill with a late fee I called and questioned it and they then informed me that anything added had to be paid for. So I took care of the billing amount. Today I got a bill for my 650. I was upset so I called and asked why they are billing me now instead of next january. They said that I broke the contract so they have started to bill the full amount. I was pissed...The dealer who I purchased it from gave me the impression that all on-card purchases would not have a payment until jan 2003. I am upset at myself for not paying attention to some of the details. I am also upset at the credit card company for not informing or dealing with my situation in an honest manner.

One other thing...I have purchased two other atvs through this company. paid in full. yet it took over 6 months to get my title. I had to call several times to get my titles finally after much hassle they sent them to me. I have head they won't send you the title unless you specifically ask for them.

Ok...enough said

Yeah, they tried to tell me I didn't have to make a payment for 12 months either, so I questioned it until I got a clear answer. Turned out that if you go with the 0,0,0 for 6 month plan, there would be no payment for 6 months. Who knows, but that sucks that they are not more educated with their special offers.
