i am restoring a 85 tecate three. i put the motor back in and tried to crank it apperently the coil quit firing. found a place that said how to ohm out parts. everything seems good except for the coil.shows nothing. any suggestions or where can i buy a new coil. oh yea it has a pvl ignition.

 

Check on E-bay. Sometimes people have stuff like that. If not, type in tecate connection on a search engine and see if someone is selling that partin particular. Good luck.

 

call PVL directly they might replace it for free. here's the number to pvl.440-988-4474 if you have any other questions feel free to ask. and don't waste your time with tecate connection there's nothing to be had there.
