yes i'm sure a cr 500 250r would be faster then a tecate 250.but then again if you want to be like everyone else then buy a 250R.
i have nothing against 250r's it's just that everyone has them.and i myself prefer to be different and stick out in the crowd.
but i'll gaurantee that when i show up at any track or riding area that my tecate will get more attention and looks and comments then any 150r on the planet. and yes my tecate has a kx 500 motor and why don't you go ahead and take a look at my tecate since your so eager to knock it.it handles and jumps as well or better as any 250r .i know cause i've owned them all at one point and i've raced them all and i've built them.
and tecate 4 parts are not as hard to get as people think ,you just have to look a little more .the exclusivity of the tecate is well worth the trouble .

If you want speed, with twitchy control go with the T-4 although I'll have to tell you I sold mine last year because I fried the Tranny and when I ordered a new output shaft ($220)and a couple of gears($350) I know I got the last output shaft and one of the last gears (I think 3rd) from kawasaki........SO parts are hard to come by. Lightning on wheels though. 250r's nice bikes with lots of after market parts!!! (Even though I don't like HONDA'S) [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

That would be the part where I said the SMART money would be on the R.

 

i think the hondas probly an overall better quad. but i like to be differnt so id try to find a t4. thats why i ride a mojave and not a 3 or 400 ex like every body eles in this town

 

i'll tell u wut i just got my tecate and i raced it after 3 weeks of having it and its nothing special rite now but i sure did get alot more attion then the 250r because i had the only one wit a tecate in the hole race
