650 oxlite guards,not satified

Just put on the oxlite guards on my 650 and I am not satified with them,looks like it opened the cv joints up to get damaged really easy.I think the stock plastic would protect them better than these things will. I wish I had got the Metaltech ones now.If anybody else has got the oxlites what is your opinion. Thanks in advance for any opinions!

I bought the cycle country boot protectors and i really don't care for them either.

I also have the oxlite's and don't care for them either. The plastic stock one's at least guarded both cv joints.

I put mine on backwards, well, I put the left on the right and the right on the left. This way the protector that is built in to the strut tower protects the outside and the oxlite guard protects the inside. It seems to work better this way.
