Wondering if anyone has tried the ATV Stealth Exhaust, or the similar Benz Silent Rider on a P650. Both claim to cut exhaust noise by 50% or more with minimal power loss. They both look like a second muffler/spark arrestor that bolts to the oem muffler. I'd be willing to sacrifice a little power (but not too much) to be able to see more game.

I've never heard of those. Where did you see them?

Both have been advertised in ATV Magazine, and they did a short review on the ATV Stealth Exhaust in the previous issue. They liked it, and only lost 2 HP on a chasis dyno. I sent ATV Stealth Exhaust an e. mail asking for availability/info on a P650 kit, and they never responded. Benz doesn't have a web site, but they make a P650 kit, and they responded to an e. mail within a few hours, and they're $70 cheaper.

I applaud your curiosity in quieting down your ATV. If only we had more people like you in our sport. Less sound = more ground to ride on. Anoter thing to try would be to repack your silencer. The more batting you pack in there the quieter it is. Just a thought.

From the looks of those stealth devices, I just wonder why a pipe couldn't be adapted that fits something like a small 4 cylinder car. I have looked at the stealth, and it is fairly crude with the flexible hoses and all. It actually looks homemade anyway.

You could probably experiment with that or a small tractor pipe at the end of it. You could probably pick one up at an autoparts store, hold it over the end of your exhaust and see if it quiets it any. If not, just take it back. I may even give it a try before fall sesons kick in.
