well..went for the kawi's first real ride tonight..HA what a machine..unfortunatly I was not in 4 wheel when I needed it and buried it right up to the seat in river mud..after we pulled it out.(4 of us) we continued to up the creek, when we retured my buddie decides that his honda can go where my 650 couldnt..WRONG..he buried the 450 up to the handle bars....guess what..hondas float when you jump off em..we pulled it to shore and drained the spark arrester and spent the next hour trying to get it to run..finaly deciding that my 650 was the only way we were gonna get home..I pulled the honda 3 miles back to the trucks..what a machine this thing is..I just cant say enough good stuff about it..just WOW

Ohhh Yeahhhhhh!
I towed a 2000 Grizz about 15 km once, had the girlfriend on back, I weigh in at 250 and the guy on the Grizz went 220 at the least.I could still accelerate going uphill!!!!!!!

The 650 Rules.

I had a dream my P650 was up to the handlebars in muddy water. Don't laugh....I was driving across the top of a SUNKEN Rincon...in low gear.....two wheel drive......one spark plug pulled out.....and NO AIR in the tires.

Rincon lol Honda shoulda built another car cause the thing is a laugh I rode one at the utility show strong in 1st gear,if your pulling away from a traffic light it would be ok. However if your going to ride this thing in the woods hehe hope it donwshifts when it is time.
By the way just for the record and Kawasaki 650's go deeper .
I seen a Honda 450 2 days old at Dirt Week to prove it, but to be fair the hole claimed a Kawasaki as well as a Polaris as a Yamaha as well as a the list goes on lol.

my brother has a 450, and just so everyone knows its the best big-bore manuel shift out there. comparing the 450 to the 650 isn't really fair, but i get your point, the p650 pulls hard. really hard

I also owned a 02 450 that got "barrowed" and I upgraded to to the 650..there is no comparison between these two machines..the 650 is in a class all of its own..although i did like my ES..this machine is just an animal..
