I just got the TRX450 (he posts on here, but hasn't updated his name yet, he has a P650) setup on my Prairie. C-Series wheels and ITP Spider-Trac fronts and MAXXIS Sur-Trak rears, 26inch all around. Makes a WORLD of difference in the handling of the machine. I think rims ($75/ea) and tires I have about $650 in the whole deal. Tires are around $60-70/ea, plus shipping.

I've got a set of stock size Bear Claws that arrived today and I can't wait to get them on the bike and go riding.Problem is that I won't be able to get it done until next week. CAN'T WAIT!
I went with stock size to keep the weight down and the center of gravity as low as possible.I've never had an issue with ground clearance on the P650 and don't see the need for oversized tires.
Kawasaki is sure keeping the tire companies happy with their choice of OEM tires.I haven't talked to anybody with a 650 that was happy with the stock tires.

PackardBell--- Nyroc and I use the same REAR tires, but I use Spider trax in the frt, nyroc uses mud runners. You can see BOTH tires on nyroc's "650 site". I have ITP "C" wheels, nyroc kept stock. These are in 26"-SEE MY SIGNATURE.
NO tire is going to do EVERTHING well. You need to tailor the tire to YOUR AREA of operation. My combo works for me in clay, a little sand, a lot of mud, and some rocks. I ride in the Appalachian Mtns and their foothills in S.E. Ohio, and SW W.Va.
