You are comparing IRL cars to NASCAR cars, in my opinion.

Prarie: Solid rear axel.
Grizzly: Independent suspension.

Prarie: V-Twin Engine
Grizzly: Single cylinder

etc...lots and lots of differences. I can best tell you the Prarie leans toward the "sport" in sport utility, while the Grizzly leans toward the "utility" in sport utility...

Good questions!

Here is my opinion on your questions----
Faster... which ever rider weighs the less
Accleration..... see the statment for faster
Handling.... for the beginner the praire but after you get used to the irs the Grizzly
Hauling, caring, towing... bascially the same
Reliablty.... its all in how the bike is took care of
Mods... i really don't know because my grizzly is still stock as so is my brother-in-laws praire
Mudding... same as far as i'am concerned after the rev limiters are bypassed on the grizzly
Rocky Terrian... grizzly because of the IRS

I would buy which everone i could get the best deal on. Some people may not agree with what i have to say but this is my opinion. If you happen to be around Missouri and could met me at St. Joes state park your more that welcome to take a spin on either one.

jobaja...Most of my riding budies now have 650's and 660's. The 650 will beat the 660 off the line 10 out of 10 times. But as for speed, stock vs stock, the 660 has 2 or 3 mph at top end. 660 will catch the 650 at about 50mph.

I don't agree with the catching part!! And if you are going to ride off camber stuff stay away from IRS.

I would look at the quest 650.

It is better in mud, it tows more, Its built way stronger and is reliable. And i think its got a good ride.

The grizz doesn't disengage the belt when stopped, nuff said as far as work goes/belt replacement. The grizz also takes many raptor top end mods, allowing for a good deal (40% or so)more power than out of the box.

Both have their good points but as you're deciding remember, "2001 Raptor". Think to yourself: Do I really want to spend 7k with a company that would rip off so many of their customers?

Do what I did: Go ride BOTH. I was able to ride both bikes at(almost) the same time. "Jumping" back and forth on them, on a real test course. The P-650 won...............
